Overview and Location

The Caboolture to Wamuran Rail Trail is a fully paved 11km shared path following part of the route of the original branch railway line that ran from Caboolture to Woodford and operated between 1909 and 1964. The original Caboolture to Woodford Railway Line was extended to Kilcoy in 1913 and serviced stations at Moodlu, Wamuran, Bracalba, Woodford, Durundur, Neurum, Royston, Villeneuve, Glenfern and Winya.

The rail trail is easily accessed by bike at the Caboolture end off Beerburrum Road, near Nursery Road, although if traveling by car, parking is available in the carpark accessed from nearby Toohey Street. From the Wamuran end there is limited parking just off the D’Aguilar Highway, outside the park on the cord of Atwood Street. Alternatively, there is a carpark (and toilets) located at the rear of the Community Hall.
