If you plan on riding more than a handful of kilometers though, you will require some specialised gear to ensure your comfort, safety, and enjoyment. Here's a list of essential gear for rail trail riding:

  1. A Gravel Bike: A gravel-specific bike is designed to handle the demands of off-road riding while still providing efficiency on smoother surfaces.
